Reef pro is probably a stand up company but using fedex sucks. Straight up took the day off from work just to get an email at 5:30 saying it will be delayed till tomorrow. Also the 29.99 insurance to get it a refund is a joke. I’m done what’s the point of paying a few hundred on a fish that won’t be here and I’m not getting paid from work. ReefPro you need to find a better way to handle the shipping issues. Btw if I hear we are short staffed one more time from fedex that’s not my problem I just want my dang fish.

We apologize for the delay you have experienced with your package. Unfortunately FedEx carrier shipping delays are completely out of our control. We do our best to make sure no delays occur, however, weather and mechanical problems do happen. We make sure to pack all the livestock with plenty of water and oxygen just in case they are delayed.

Our shipping insurance is an optional insurance that covers against any DOA in result of a carrier related delay. Under our DOA policy we are unable to cover any DOA due to carrier related error, however, if you choose to purchase the insurance, if your livestock does perish due to carrier delay Reef Pro Store will replace it 100% free of charge.

We hope your livestock arrived happy and healthy in spite of the delay that occurred. Please feel free to reach out to us with any concerns.

I understand that it’s not your fault but fedex sucks and when you pay for shipping you expect it the next day. What made me upset was they said they was short staffed. It wasn’t weather related. That was my biggest issue. Having to take a day off from work just to take another day because they couldn’t deliver it next day. Also The hybrid PBT did not make it and I’m just done. I don’t need the credit I don’t want it to reflect on your business so I took it up with fedex.

Fedex called me and said you won’t fill out the waiver to them. Great job trying to get people to buy your insurance for 29.99 I hope your business practices change. Even though I was trying to not get you involved but if this is how you wanted to handled the issue this way I’ll make sure I post this on every media platform

We understand your frustration, however this is not the case. FedEx does not guarantee nor cover claims for live commodities. We are more than happy to fill out the form, however, the fish you purchased is not something they will cover under general claims. The insurance we offer is to prevent you from having to go through FedEx as Reef Pro is the sole provider. Our insurance covers against any DOA in result of a carrier related delay. The DOA agreement form that was submitted prior to Reef Pro shipping your order acknowledges you agree with our DOA guarantee refusal of the insurance. We are working with our claims department to see if there is something we can do for you as compensation, please allow us 24 hours to review the case.
