Just ordered the "new" Lumentek Pro 180 a couple days ago. Based on all these positive reviews I'm sure I'll be more than pleased with their product, can't wait to receive it.

1) Are the 6500k white leds in the Evergrow 2040 the same as the 5000k leds in the DM-132 series? I had thought Bridgelux only made 4500k leds but perhaps they have expanded their variety in the past year.

2) If I were to add the custom plan to an order, does that mean I can swap royal blue(450nm) leds for regular blue(460nm) leds, etc?

Take a look at our site at Reef Radiance - Home - look at the home page. We just started a new program called " 3 WEEKS TO PAY". This enables anyone to put a small deposit on a light and pay over the next 3 weeks and if it if paid in full in that time frame - you will get it before Christmas. We get a lot of emails from people who want a light or other product and just don't have the full amount to pay in one shot - now you don't have to - you can do it whenever you want and if it is not a Christmas gift - you can take up to 8 weeks to pay for it. That is a great idea. It is nice that someone is looking out for their customers and also going out of their way to provide top notch service. I will be getting ahold of you here probably within the next week or two after things settle down for me some here. All of my wants as far as my little piece of the ocean have been put on hold until after our wedding, which by the way I don't mind. Hey guys im desiding on getting the lumentek 120 or getting the evergrow IT2040. Can someone Give me some info on there brand lights? i no the it2040 is very well. How is there lumentek 120 i am gonna bee keeping stright Zoas and SPS and i want my SPS to thrive. Will either of these fixtures do it? i have LED's right now but its time to switch to full spectrum. Can some one please help me.!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 lumentek 120's on my 75 gallon, and my zoas and other corals are going nuts! I am getting crazy growth with em.

Hey Rob&Gab,

The Evergrow is a very good light - we still sell them. We just introduced a brand new LUMENTEK controller and it allows you to adjust the intensity every 10 minutes - unlike the Evergrow which is every 30 minutes. I have used both over my tanks and have sold lots of both and I will sell you either - but frankly - I would rather sell you the LUMENTEK - as I know you will be another happy customer with coral growing like crazy. Just got my light. Holy Toledo Batman this thing is bright!!!! Wish I had put in the order for 120 degree optic to get more spread. Heard it can be done easily on Youtube so that shouldn't be a problem.
