Did you know that we just revamped this light and it has 120 degree optics in the entire outer row of leds? Thia enables them to cover larger tanks than the other leds. We have a lot of customers that are using Apex to control our DM series.....

Seeing great response in corals and SPS too! The 155e's I like. my lighting is now up to 35% whites and 40% blues. I noticed a nice reaction to the added light. I have seen an increase in corals from going led and now think the added light intensity will kick off even more growth. I have a mixed reef so have to keep everyone happy. But the LEDs are awesome.

Started slow to acclimate will eventually go a little higher with intensities.

Rick I've had the 1-10v dimming via apex figured out but want to order some more units soon. I just haven't taken mine down to do it to mine. This weekend I will mod mine and email you.

Happy and excited to be a dealer and I'm going around to get orders before placing mine.

I am trying to decide what to go with. On my 36" x 18" x 24" 65g tank do you think a Lumentek Pro 180 mounted using your tank rim mounts would give enough coverage? Or would I need go with the Lumentek Pro 240? Also, my tank has a cross brace. Would I be looking at a large shadow or are the optics such that I would not really notice it.

Basically I am looking at three options...all would be using your mounting equipment.

2 x DM-155e @ $419
1 x Lumentek Pro 180 @ $378
1 x Lumentek Pro 240 @ $478

I am a diehard t5 girl. ..but I have been looking into leds for some time now. ..I am just about to pull the plug and order the DM 155e, but want to make sure that 1 will be enough for my 34 gallon. ..30 x 18 x 16 . in reality the depth from bottom to the black trim is more like 13 1/2 though. Since I have used t5s forever do you all think I will be happy changing to leds? I mostly keep LPS, zoos, etc. ..have kept SPS in the past with my t5s too. Love the fact that this light has added some 120 optics to some of the bulbs and from reading this entire thread it seems that Rick is an awesome person to buy from and it is on special right now too. ..I'd love to hear from any other diehard t5 people that have gone to leds. Thanks!

Sacked up and pulled the trigger. Just ordered a Lumentek 240 and mounting kit for my 65g. Now the wait begins...

I really hope it is closer to two week than four. After my light arives I will be selling my Coralife 2 x 150 HQI 36" fixture. Look for it in the for sale section...lol

I had t5 on my 120 gal...did a lil but of research, and found reef radiance...bought two of the 155e....really love them and the color, makes fish and coral pop...Rick is awesome in his customer service,...it may take a couple of weeks to get but their worth it

I plan on getting the lumentec pro180 for my 50 gallon tank. Like the idea of being able to program it.

Wow. ..that is BRIGHT ! What level are you running them? Thanks for the pic! Just ordered. ..now I have figure out how I will hang/mount them. My tank sits catty corner in a corner and right now I am in a rental house until my house in Oregon sells, so no ceiling driiling. ...hmmmm. ......no idea how I am going to do this. ...BUT soooo excited!

I am in a similar situation with a catty corner tank and not wanting to put holes in the ceiling. I bought the mounts that reef radiance offers.
