This thing is a solidly built fixture! ! One thing I found is that since I am using temporarily a homemade light stand that I made out of 1 inch PVC, (because I am in a rental until my house in Portland sells and I can't drill the ceiling) I will need to either get a bigger carbiner or figure out a bigger hook to use with the hanging kit. Also how can I adjust the height of the hangers ? They are a set length and have big metal "crimps" of some sort on the end s that are not removable. ..much like the smaller metal crimps that you use when beaded necklaces or bracelets ....

U can make new ones with leader and crimps from a fishing supply shop

Also, this is supposed to be the new updated dm-155e with 120 optics on certain bulbs. ..how can I be sure that it is ? Not that I think it ISN'T but just want to be sure I got the newer updated light.

The delay for me was I ordered right in the middle of the Chinese New Year holiday. I know Rick is working hard to get stock levels up, permanently.
