Does your tank have cross braces under the lights? If so, do you notice any shadows?

The 3rd time I wrote down the time and percentage before I programmed the light made life a lot better. I hope I'm done now

I went with 60 minute stepping so I'd only have to program 24 settings. I wish these lights came with built-in presets that you could then modify to your taste. At least the custom settings are restored after a power interruption; nice feature there.

During the day, I have the Lumentek 240 set to 100% (CH1), and I'm wondering if that will be too much for my 75 gallon. It's a newly cycled tank, no fish or coral in it yet. I might invest in a PAR meter.

On my 70gal 20"deep with the light 10" above the water whites at 75% blues 50% I'm getting 240par at the sand

My loaner DM is over my tank. I can't believe the colors it is bringing out in my coral. With just the blue lights running I can see colors I have never seen before. I am still anxious to get my Lumentek. I hope the factory stays on schedule and gets them on their way to Rick tomorrow.

I want to get try these . I really need an idea how many. I currently use a 400 watt halide to cover a 40x 36x 22 tank. I need adequate par for sps , clams on the sand . I was guessing 2 dm 155e sound right the tank is pretty shallow. 20 inch from water to sand
