So here's a new twist. Today I get home from work and my light was in Moonlight mode. I asked my wife and she said it was like that all day. I need a new controller ASAP Rick. This is getting ridiculous.
It will go a week with no issues then it will start switching out of custom mode every day for 3-4 days in a row.

its not this layout , ive ordered a dm-132e about 6 months ago for a neighbors tank i setup and it was this layout. Now this second Dm-132e that i ordered for a friends tank that i setup had something completley different. tank looks half white and half blue, hes not happy with it . he said guests that come over his house have even asked why his tank is half blue and half white . Rick il be giving you a call some time this week, being kinda busy latley.
Ive ordered a bunch of fixtures and Par bulbs from rick and love his lighting, never had any problem whats so ever. This is the first issue ive ran into

As a hobbyist - I know it sucks when you buy a cool toy and it does not work correctly. As to being ridiculous - at less than 1% failure rate - LUMENTEK is far better than the vast majority of consumer electronics sold in the US. As an industry, consumer electronic failure rates over 3 years commonly exceed 15 percent. I know this doesn't make you feel any better when that 1% happens to be your personal light - but I wanted to clarify that.
I think the real metric to use in a situation like this is not if something fails to perform as it should - this happens to every company that makes anything - but how the company reacts to their customers when it does. At Reef Radiance - we always jump in and find the best and fastest fix for our customers.
The factory is working on an updated controller - to fix the lights that are affected by this problem - but this will take the time it takes. We want to make sure that when we roll it out- that it fixes all the problems that it is designed to fix. And we do not have a definitive date - yet - on exactly when this will be ready to send to our customers.
So I would offer you the option - I can send you a loaner light - to hold you over until we send the new controllers out. Let me know if you would like this and I will make it happen.
It would be best for you - and for us - If you would email me directly as I have no idea what your real name is to process a loaner. I know you know who you are - but we have no way of knowing by your forum name.
So email me and lets get you taken care of.

Frankly it will depend on your level on competence - hands on. I have had customers replace them in the field on both Evergrow and LUMENTEK and no one has not been able to do it. There is not soldering - it is disconnecting wires from the old controller and plugging them into the new one.
Or you can send it back to us to do.

Hey guys called up Rick today regarding my new Dm-132e that seemed to have more Blue bulbs on one side and more whites on the other side and all i can say, Rick gives the best costumer service ive ever delt with. He immediately understood and offered a swap for the previous model DM-132e which had a different layout that i preferred to have. In addition, to excellent customer service , he continues providing great quality and amazing performance Led fixtures at unbeatable prices. Ive ordered several led fixtures from Rick for my personal reef aquariums and for several tank setups i have done for others. I will continue using and recommending reef radiance led fixtures for anyone in the market for a led fixture for their aquarium.
