Flying Turkey and Bow - both of your beta controllers are going out Tuesday - I hired a Service manager - finally- and we wanted to run some tests on the two units before they went out. They are ready to ship and will go out Tuesday and I will send you a fedex tracking number when you get them. Rick

HI Alan,
Like I said in the PM - we have your light here. When we moved to California - got backlogged on repairs. I just hired a new service manager - Charles -and told him his first directive is to have every single repair light out by next Friday. It is so awesome to have him on board. He will have his own email soon and you can contact him directly - which will result in quicker answers - and faster repairs. He is up to speed on all aspects of both the LUMENTEK and Evergrow lights as well as design, function, and any service issues in the past. Charles is a great addition to our team and not only will handle any and all service - but will be helping me in he more sophisticated aspects of the 3 new lights I am designing.

I forwarded your email to the Evergrow factory with all the details added and did not cc you on it. Sorry about that - I was sure I had. I did not like their original answer " make sure the customer is using the SAVE function " as I know you know that so I pushed back and said you and I have already spent enough time on this and wanted a simple answer. I don't want to just send you another controller - unless I am convinced that is truly the problem.
I will keep you in the loop on what their engineers come up with.

Wish I was closer, I would have loved to help.

I could use a few of you in the last month - just to man phones and process lights and paint and................. I am sure you get the idea. I was able to find a few minutes last week - my birthday was Wednesday - to go and pick up a new Marineland 300 Deep dimension Saphire glass tank - unfortunately the stand I ordered is not done so it is sitting on a pallet covered up. I am building a salt water system so we can showcase all of our products and start creating the videos that have been on the back burner since March with the move - It has had been killing me to have no aquariums set up but I just have just been too busy to work on this other than ordering all the stuff I need. I am very excited - it will be 5 tanks and 3 sumps - all sharing a little over 700 gallons of salt water - including a 300 gallon reef display tank - a 40 breeder fowlr - a 29 gallon biocube seahorse - a 75 gallon predator - and a 30 gallon reef tank - and three sumps totaling 200 gallons.
This is my biggest build to date and I will try to send some pictures as it comes together. Just got in my 1.5 horse power chiller and huge MTC skimmer - and just ordered 800 pounds of rock and sand and................... I am having to add two separate electrical circuits in the breaker box for all the electrical draw. I just ordered an auto-start generator to kick in automatically if the power ever goes out. I am having a blast with it all - but hate all the boxes sitting there unopened.
Having such a mix of different size and types of aquariums will allow us to continue our work on manufacturing lights for hobbyists with all sizes of tanks and needs. We will also be building lights for fresh water hobbyists.
Additionally, we have 5 new lights in the pipeline - 3 being completely new lights and very v - very cool at that at that - and 2 being upgrades to two of our existing lights.
One of the designs - if it performs as expected - will be a game changer in the reef hobby.
When we roll it out you will understand.
And all of this is due to the continued support of our customers - on this forum and many others. You buy our products - you offer (generally (-: ) good advice - you let us know when you love our products and when you don't - you keep us on our toes if we do something wrong - or get behind in getting back to you and because of this - you all really define how we do business with your comments and suggestions -and yes - criticism.
So keep communicating and we will listen and build better stuff - they way you like it.

Sounds awesome Rick. Wish I had the skills to help. My average commute is about the same as sac to Dublin already lol
If you want cuttlefish in any of those systems, I will have at lease one to part with. Hatched them myself.
