Reef Radiance - the next generation of aquarium lighting!

At Reef Radiance, we are aware that it is a big investment to switch to, or replace outdated LEDs.
Remember we are fish people too, and we all had to do this at one time.
To make this easier, we offer discounts when you purchase more than one light.

Our Lights - Reef Radiance

If you are looking for the edge in color growth and want to move beyond the spectrum of blue and white leds, then the DM-132e is for you. The e in the name is for "enhanced". And that is exactly what it is - an enhanced DM-132s. Based upon the DM-132s, the DM-132e is identical in every way except for the configuration and lighting spectrum of the LEDs. The DM-132s has 22 blue and 22 white LEDS. The DM-132e has the same number of LEDs, but has not only white and blue LEDS, but uses Dual Spectrum White and Blue LEDs as well as violet, red, green and yellow LEDs. This light was designed specifically by Reef Radiance and made to our exact requirements based upon intense research into exactly what lighting causes maximum coral health and growth. We didn't just add colored LEDs and call it enhanced. We looked at the exact photosynthetic lighting spectrum that creates optimal health for zooxanthellae. This single-celled algae is critical to the health, growth, and coloration of corals - and other invertebrates, such as anenomes, clams, gorgonian corals, sea fans, and others. We created a very unique lighting matrix to maximize coral growth and built the DM-132e around it.

Presenting the DM-132s - the light for most marine applications. The DM-132s was crafted with a smaller footprint and slimmer design and replaces the older style, bulky pendant lights. It is significantly lighter than the prior generation of LED lights it replaces. The DM-132s was designed to allow for customization without a large price tag.

The DM-132s is only 13.7 inches long by 8.4 inches wide and 2.3 inches tall. This footprint is over a third smaller than the standard pendant LEDS lights. This smaller size has several advantages including being able to use this light for nano and smaller tanks as a single light source or use in multiples for larger aquariums. In addition, this smaller size enables this light to be fitted under your canopy, should you decide to do this. These are just a few of the reasons that Reef Radiance is the brand you want!

Two DM-132s lights in action!

The DM-132s has a refined look that makes the average pendant LED look bulky over an aquarium. Twin dimmer controls are mounted on the side of the light for ease of use. These enable you to set your white and blues independently to match your tanks depth, to acclimate new fish and coral, and ultimately, to make your aquarium shine. It uses 3 watt BridgeLux LEDs to blanket your tank with the closest lighting to a reef as possible.

The whisper-quiet DM-132s has two solid state fans to keep it 7th generation components cool for its anticipated 50 thousand hours of operation. It has twin detachable power cords which allow for separate and individual timer control over the blue and white LEDs. Included with each DM-132s is a hanger kit, which allows you to hang your light using the top-mounted eyelets on each light.

The DM-36. The latest addition to the Reef Radiance family of LED Lights. The DM-36 represents the most advanced technology available in Par 38 lighting. Its 12 X 3 watt Bidgelux LEDs provide plenty of Light for those who may not need the full power of the DM-132s. Use it to augment your existing lighting, or as a stand alone above your pico or nano tank. With it's remote control, you can adjust it's intensity from 10% to 100%. This feature allows you the flexibility to adjust the DM-36 to fit your unique needs.

Are the lights dimmable on the unit or with a controller? They look awesome and the price is incredible!

the DM-36 is dimmable with the remote control that is supplied with the light....the DM-132e and DM-132s are only dimmable by the two control knobs,it has 2 dimming channels,1 for the blue,1 for the white..

the DM-132e is the full spectrum "enhanced" version with the red, green, violet, and yellow/warm white LEDs devided between the 2 channels....I have mine adjusted to 60% blue channel 40% white channel and the color looks great....the case doesn't even get warm at that setting,I'm still acclimating my tank to 'em but I don't expect to go above 75/80% on either channel

the supplied hanging kit is great too

Nice. Can they be used with a controller? I'm looking to upgrade in the future to leds and a reefkeeper lite to do sunrise and sunset effects.
