So I am sitting here typing on my Chinese computer...talking on my Chinese cell phone... heck i even have Nikes on that were make in China...Oh and I am looking at my reef tank with those god forsaken Chinese lights that people attempt to bash yet fail miserably doing so. My corals...they dont seem to to be picky, whew they have awesome growth and colors. But here is my point, products made in the US esp. when it comes to anything electronic, we all know they lack something, like...a good price? I was skeptical about the Chinese lights myself. I called and talked with Rick, and i placed my order while on the phone with him. The point is, you DO NOT have to spend 400-1000 per fixture to get a good light. Since getting these lights, i have talked one of my LFS into carrying the Reef Radiance products and currently speaking to another LFS about the same and we both agreed they will out sell any of the top brands on the market. Why? PRICE!
In todays economy price means everything. Most people can not afford to do a reef set up due to the climbing cost. But when we have options like this, it makes things much easier on us, I personally am someone who is trying to "Reef on a budget" and with the help of Rick, I am able to apply the money i saved and put it else where in the tank. I am simply speaking from someone who does not have 10's of thousands of dollars laying around to put into a reef set up.
Furthermore, if you are looking for a great LED fixture and hands down the best customer service in the industry DO NOT hesitate to try out Reef Radiance products. If anyone has any questions in regards to personal experience with these lights, please feel free to shoot me a message. I will pull no punches and tell it how it is. If there was something I did not like about these lights, i would have told Rick personally and sold these. There is a reason I took the type to chicken peck this entire post.
Sorry to the babbling .... I just thought i would throw out my thoughts.
