Hello all,
Was just wondering if any other reefers that have the reef radiance starfire black box fixture could share their setup and settings. I have a few sps frags that are just a bit pale compared to how they were when I brought them home.
That being said, the frags are somewhat new and have excellent polyp extension but have lost some color. I am just worried about blasting them with too much light. I do not have access to a PAR meter and I am running the starfires at with the pre-set program that has the whites and blues at 80% daily.
Nutrients are low,
PO4 - .035 Hanna low range
No3- 0 w salifert
I have the boxes at about 8-9 in off the water and the frags are roughly 12 in deep, right in the middle of the 24 in deep 180. Any advice or guidance would be helpful like approximate PAR ratings the fixture may put out at a certain height and depth. Thanks!
