Reef radience h u g e s a l e !!!!!!

Great lights!

Got my Lumentek Pro 180 Saturday, and was able to mount it Sunday. What an awesome light! (Hoping the performance over time is as impressive.) But, knowing they are here in the USA performing any warranty service issues, I felt very confident in buying the extended warranty, and "pulling" the purchase trigger.

Prior to my purchase from Reef Radiance, I had been "surfing" the internet, and was discouraged at the price of "reef" tank lighting options, at a price not requiring a 2nd mortgage! Was I to give-up my dream of a living reef? But alas, while reading posts to Forums, I became aware of your company. The Forum posts almost sounded too good to be true. (One of those "if it sound too good to be true...," moments.) So, I checked out their website, and whatever else I could find about the company & products.

After researching the plethora of options available on their website, I wasn't sure which light, or lights were going to be best for my tank. Now what? Well, the Forum posts kept talking about how great "Rick" was to deal with. So on a Thursday night at 7:30pm, I send off an email with my questions. By 8:00pm I already had a reply from Rick! (Who, BTW, I came to find out is the owner of the company.) Wow, can this really be happening, caring, customer service?

Well to keep this from under the "short story" category, Rick and I went back and forth for a couple of days with ideas and suggestions prior to me deciding on the Lumentek Pro 180. (I was even considering spending more on the Pro 240, but RICK talked me out of it as "overkill." Once again cementing my belief in this Company. "Customer's needs over profits." Way to go Reef Radiance!!!

In all fairness, I have to say that my order did take a bit longer than Reef Radiance's goal of a 2-4 week lead time, and Rick addressed the issue to my satisfaction personally. (But that could be a sign of a growing company with highly in demand products.)

Communication was superb. Tara in the office kept me abreast of shipping details, and Rick sending updates with the big picture.

Anyone out there on the fence about a purchase from Reef Radiance should not, IMHO, can't buy a better LED light from anyone else for the quality, price, and customer service!!! You will not be sorry.
