Anyone get in on that reef raft live sale two weeks ago?

I'm just curious so I know who to trade with :)

I think jurg got some stuff. Let's bug him now for pics and frags lol

I did grab some from there live sale. Really nice frags at good prices. I've tried posting some pics, but they come out horrible. Ill keep you all posted on how they do. Two of them didn't ship very well and have a little bleaching.

Where you at? Ill come over and snap some pics for you. My mystery pack shipped today.

how were prices? I was thinking about going to the original in Canada but kinda thinking about it cuz of its steep prices :/

I'm in plantation near university and sunrise. I'm not a big photo person as I feel it always jinxes me. I'm taking care of my tank Saturday, lots of maintenance etc to get it where I want it to be. Maybe after this we can see about some photos.

I felt prices were good especially for the size of the frags and the quality you were getting. I mean these weren't $10 digi or Monti pieces. Some really nice acros, chalices, zoas etc. I went overboard, but so far I'm really happy with what I got. I'm just hoping everything or mostly everything survives the shipping and stress. Like I said in an earlier post, 2 of them may not make it.

To give you an idea on some of the prices, I purchased 2 chalices that could easily go for 150 a piece or more and I got both under that. The jack-o-lantern and what they called mr freeze I know as convict chalice. They are small, but that's how most of these frags are anyways.

I'm debating if I should go ahead and frag it above bad tissue.

What do you think causes that RTN. Just poor shipping? I have 2 it's happening to. Ill see when I get home tonight if I can still cut the one the other seemed to be holding strong so far. I'm just keeping them out of high flow.

I think it could be a number of factors. Of my frags it was only one that came in like that.

Here you can see the skeleton of it while in the bag.

In the same bag there was a stomatella. I think that's what they are called. They are like snails but with a somewhat flat shell. That's the only thing I can think of. All my other acros look fine.

Did any of yours arrive with visible damage? Or they started stn a couple days after being in your tank?

2 of mine were like that pretty much out of the box. I cut them tonight and glued the skeleton parts. Hopefully that saves them.

Honestly shipping issues with such sensitive corals are what keep my constantly buying from our own fmas members (marke, jps, carlos, sam, etc) That way you can see it before buying and you know its getting minimal stress not having to ship it. Not to mention the prices are usually very good! Support local IMO
Also I would Def frag the very tip of that coral, it might suck to having to take such a small frag from that, but a living frag can grow vs. if it rtns completely ur SOL.

Didn't I sell you a bunch of defective corals?
