Hello all,
I have a 72g bow front for over a year now that is established. .... somewhat. Can anyone help if I am able to drill through the back to make it rr? I know I should have thought about it earlier but I honestly didn't know the difference. Currently using a cpr overflow off the side and it looks not classy for what's in it. It may not be worth the risk, any advice would help out alot. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your quick response,i should I be concerned with livestock and corals while drilling the tank

Yes, I'd be concerned that you don't crack the tank or bust it and have a catastrophic flood. Keeping water on the drill bit is going to be difficult and messy if the tank isn't flat. Use tape over the hole. I'd prefer to do it with an empty tank!

I understand this isn't a wise decision, I wish I had a rr tank, just wondered if someone ever made an attempt, the external down pipe is wide open to kids to hang off of right now. Maybe a larger tank would be more just. Thanks
