I found out yesterday that Reef Revolution is closing or already closed. Anybody heard anything?

If you're talking about the place in Homewood...I think it's been closed for a while...I could be wrong

RR is/was in Trussville. I don't think there's a place in Homewood unless you mean Ed's Pet World, but I don't think they have any saltwater livestock.

I was just there about a week and a half ago. The place y'all are talking about in homewood was aquarium fantasies, closed about 2 yrs ago.

I tried to go to RR several times it is always locked but equipment is still inside . There is also aquarium imports near hoover and another place off of 280 called reef life but it may be out of business as well

Reef life is still open...I got there for everything...don't know about RR or Aquarium imports

Just my opinion

Aquarium imports will never go out of business unless one of the Steve's dies. They have been there since 1976 I think.

They are both nice guys but the cleanliness of the tanks and store has gone down a bit over the years . Still like going there and supporting locals over petco.

That's about the most positive way you could say it. They are both really nice guys and I like talking to them when I go in there, but the store just sucks. In the early to mid 90's when I did freshwater you could get just about anything you wanted and the cichlid selection was really nice.
