Reef roads feeding cyno?

Hi there...

I have a weekly battle with red slime or cyno.......I do feed feed reef roids...would this contribute to the outbreaks?
my paras are
Amm :0.25
nitrite 0
nitrate 0

I have a decent amount of flow but only seem to get it on my sand bed.......

help!

It can. Pull off on roids and any NoPox which is fuel for cyano. Also reduce feeding quantity. What is your phosphate reading and are you using Tap or RO water?

Thanks for the reply... I'm using RO water... I'm not sure what my phos reading is.... How do I test for phosphates??
