I have been feeding my reef the reef roids for a while now and they seem to Love it! I did have a quick question though. When they "drool" after feeding is that normal? Or is that because I am over feeding?

Any excess will float off/away from corals after feeding. I turn my pumps off for 15 minutes and feed each coral with a large syringe. Check this out from Billy Pipes -

Thank you for sharing that!!! That's a good video! I have not been making it so thick.

Great video.. that’s exactly how I have been feeding my corals, I also mix a little frozen brine, micro omega one pellets along with the Reef Roids and 5ml water to make a paste. I use a short piece of air line tubing on the end of my syringe which helps direct the food a little better.. I have been getting some crazy growth with my new acan frags feeding them Reef Roids.

Love reef roids. I broadcast feed a small amount 10 minutes before I want to feed. This gets a feeding response from the corals which is cool to see all the feeder tentacles out. Then all my LPS get roids and some mysis or brine shrimp pieces. Got great growth on my old 20g long reef tank and hoping to see the same results on my new 10g nano LPS reef.

The amount he used is for like a 300 gallon. Be careful to not use that much lol.

anyone experienced cyano after feeding reef roids? i also get faster algae growth on glass day after feeding reef roids.

Okay noted on that haha, one more thing. I do my water changes and my feedings on Saturday. water change weekly feeding bi weekly or less. Should i feed before or after i do my water change do you think?

I usually do a bigger feeding than usual the day before a water change. After a water change I usually don’t add or feed anything until the following day. If your nitrate and phosphate are very low you should feed after a water change though to avoid bottoming out your nutrients.
