I've been using this for months and I keep having the same thing happen, but I can't tell if it's bad or really good.

Now let me explain. I am feeding mostly Zoas, occasionally some Hammers and a Duncan coral some Reef Roids twice a week. They seem to take the food and close right up around it, but then some look like complete crap for a week at a time. So I haven't fed them in about a week and everything looks great. It mostly happens to my Duncan and a couple of my Hammers.

I just can't tell if the Reef Roids are working so well that it takes a week and the corals look amazing from eating or if it's me not spot feeding them for a week that has them open and beautiful. I just don't want to continue feeding them and them closing up for a bit if it is not needed.

i find my duncan prefers chunky food much more. their tentacles grab food readily and pull it all in quickly and the whole coral looks glowing the next day.

i save the reef roids for the corals with small polyps like zoas and leptastrea.

Try DT Oysters....I make it more of a thick feed. My Rics, Goni's, and SPS looks like Arnold on steroids'.
