I bought a doser for line water and a 1.5 liter reservoir. I'm having trouble where the straw connects to the
Lid. It doesn't seal unless I remove straw from what I'm gonna call a rubber coupling, wet it, and reassemble. Not user friendly to have to do that and reprime whole line with water, everyday, to add limewater. I need a product, perferably one I can get locally at a Home Depot type store, that is reef safe to correct the seal issue at this coupling. Any suggestions?

Do you think you can use Super Glue or reef safe silicone? Home Depot probably won't have reef safe silicone but you can get it at the LFS.

I have liquid coral glue but I wasn't sure if it was flexible or not or if I even need to worry about it needing to be flexible.

No I mean the straw that goes into the reservoir itself. All flexible tubing on the outside has a good seal. The hard straw has a rubber tube about 1-5 inches long that slides over the straw half way then the other half of the rubber tubing slides into a nipple on the underside of the lid. This is where I have the problem.
5.0 L Sea Side Aquatics. This link is to one similar to mine and you can see the straw I'm referring to.

Not a reactor. I mix lime water in bucket and then put in this reservoir. I have a doser that pumps it out of the reservoir at 1.1 mil/min that I run for 20-30min at a time to add limewater mix (ph10-10.5) at night to help maintain ph.
Judging by your confusion, I may be doing it all wrong

That seems a lot of work, but will function OK. I jsut suck it up from a big batch (3 x 44 gallon Brute cans plumbed together with bulkheads) and deliver it directly to my tank.

Anyway, I'm not sure what the straw is made from so it is hard to say what adhesives are best, but a reef safe silicone sounds like a very good bet. :)

It's plastic. I'll try silicon. I'd love to spend a few days to pick your brain. You have it all figured out to where it seems so easy. I'm learning but learning over messaging is limited. Thank you
