Hey guys, in my 30 gallon I have a small CUC. Including, an emerald crab, Halloween hermit, and electric blue hermit. Are these guys reef safe, or will they pick at coral?

I've had no trouble with my representatives of those three species ... except for one thing.

As they clamber about on the rock, they tend to knock corals into the sandbed. (>_<)

Hi, I have the same CUC. I saw yesterday you had the same problem with low pH as I did. How are they dealing? I haven't seen my emerald crab since yesterday morning I am hoping he's hiding in one of the many places where I can't see him.

They're doing fine, actually my peppermint shrimp just molted. A good sign I think. As far as the emerald crab, they hide. Turn your lights on, or use a flash light in the middle of the night. You will see him on the sand

Watch the emerald crabs and electric blue hermit. I have had select members go after corals. I still keep emeralds as the majority never cause problems.
