Hey guys seems to me one of the hardest things for me to decide are what fish are good for a 75 gallon reef tank. I currently have a pair of clownfish orange spotted goby cleaner wrasse fire shrimp 2 cleaner shrimp and a handful of snails and hermit crabs. So I was just wondering if any of you guys had good suggestions on a couple more fish that I can have I love to have an Achilles tang but I understand my tank is too small so that is the challenge any suggestions?

Look at bristle tooth tang. They are small and will work in there. I had a yellow and a tomini bristle tooth in a 90 for several years together with very little aggression from the yellow.

Sweet! Thanks. .what do you think about angels? Flame , flame back, or a coral beauty?

Careful with those angels, they may nip corals, but others have had success with them in a reef, its hit or miss. Have you checked out any Flasher wrasses? They're colorful and swim everywhere.

You can keep most anything in that size of tank. While boring, a school of green chromis always looks cool and adds movement to the tank. I'd get 7-8 of them.

Chromis were the first things I thought of. You could probably have a yellow tang or a kole tang. Most gobies would work. If you have a deep enough sand bed, jaw fish would work. You could have a blenny. Also dart fish and Bengai cardinals. Most basslets would do fine. I would avoid most damsels. Oh, a pair of clown fish too. You might also get away with some of the smaller anthias.

Tank is way too small for a yellow tang I'd hesitate with a tomini or kole in that size tank...

Do u have a lid on it?
Go for some fairy wrasse if you have a lid.

A pair of clownfish
A Midas blenny
A dwarf angel like a coral beauty or flame but I wouldn't keep clams or sps if you do go that route
A long nose hawkfish

Thanks man! I actually have a sump now so all the tube are out .. thought about adding 3 anthias,I'd love to get a clam so I'll pass on the angel..was thinking maybe a fairy wrasse. .

Looking at the picture you may have issues with three clowns in there

"May" being the key word there

Some fish that I like that would work include yellow assessor, royal gramma, firefish, zebra dartfish, any species of flasher wrasse, most fairy wrasses, melanurus wrasse, radiant wrasse, richmond wrasse, a group of dispar anthias, jawfish.

I have seen plenty of people keep a tomini or a kole tang successfully in a 75.

If you get the clam the melanurus, radiant, and richmond wrasses will eat pests that can irritate or damage the clam.

See this is all great info! Thank you guys very much.. as for the clowns I moved two of them to my 29gbio cube..then went and bought another so I have a pair in each..I will definitely look up different wrasses ,jaw and hawk fish..
