It should be fine. Couldn’t find the dimensions but looked pretty shallow, and from my experience the black makes it a lot harder to spot pest and things like that. If you can find a white option I would recommend that.
Definitely should be drillable just depends on what kind of overflow you want to go with

I had to move one of my displays to this 2 months ago (building a new system and the old display was in the way). It’s made of the same stuff, works fantastic. I’m actually going to repurpose it once my new tank is up and running. I have a 40g breeder plumbed into this as a sump also.

That looks amazing. Can you give me a link which product is that or where I can find it?

Looks like under key specs:

Dimensions L x W x H (in.)

56.5 x 94.0 x 16.0 in

Found this tank. Looks great specially since it’s not a darker color. It says it’s translucent. It’s made out of MDPE. Does anyone know if this is similar to HDPE and considered reef safe?
Mdpe is food safe, so I’d say it’s reef safe

Something I should have mentioned about the comments above regarding color. Within me transferring my tank into this stock tank, the entire thing was spotty with coralline. I was happy that I no longer needed to worry about scrapping. But, I also didn’t want to scrap plastic and potentially have plastic shavings in my tank. So I just let it be. As I get closer and closer to completing my build to transfer this back into, the stock tank is 100% covered in coralline. My dosing has really increased a ton, I’ve got MG on daily now. I have my CARX on a different tank that I’m going to break down when I consolidate that into this new one. I’m seriously thinking about removing it from that(I also have 2 part on that as a fail safe) and moving the CARX to the stock tank due to consumption. Granted, I have also added about 30 frags to the stock tank and I have tons of growth tips on my sps.
