Reef safe lubricant?

Hi

Looking for a reef safe lubricant. My new K1 nano skimmer has an o-ring around the collection cub that's ridiculously hard to out on/remove. I was hoping some lubricant would help.

Found this on Amazon

DANCO Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease | Silicone Sealant | Plumbers valve Grease for O-rings | 0.5 oz. | 1-Pack (88693)
States it's NSF61 rated, so shouldn't contamate water.

Thoughts?

Saw this but that is like 100 lifetimes worth haha so was looking for something smaller.

+1 on the Molycote 111. Turns out that is what Ecotech use in their MP pumps.

Molykote is what I use. It has more uses around the house than just the reef tank.

I’ve used tiny amounts of petroleum jelly as lubricant for pump shafts for many years without issue

Dielectric Silicone Grease - never had an issue with it. Available in large tubes or small single-use packs at common auto parts stores...
