Found this today, says 100% silicone. Looking to reseal the back panel of a nuvo 30 gallon. Just wanted to make sure it was safe first

Silicone 2 is what I have always used. For some reason they recently added "not for aquarium or under water use" in the fine print. It is the same stuff so I still use it.

Don't do it. Just get real aquarium silicone. It is very redily available at most LFS's and even Petco. I have seen too many threads of tank going down because people can't be cothered spending and extra buck on the right stuff. In fact there was just 2 in my local reef club that used GE 2.

I've seen some of these silicones change color in reef tanks. As stated its only a few extra cents to get a little piece of mind from the normal aquarium glue that is used.

Dont do it! buy the aquarium safe stuff, there is a reason it says, " not for aquarium use". All caulk/ silcone has different uses.

Momentive rtv 107or 104 is same stuff the big name aquarium builders use. Granger a carries it or can get online. Great stuff

I think silicone 1 is what I used. Just do a quick google I am sure this question has been asked many times.
