Are these "cone" snails safe for Reef? I have seen them on my Polyps and then a few days later that spot looks a little more bare, so I was just wondering if these are "safe" snails?

Read the word "cone" and thought I was going to see something really dangerous! ;Dead False alarm.

Thanks for the speedy replies. They have made it through invert quarantine, and I just didn't want a bigger problem in the display tank. I appreciate the feedback :-)

I have seen them laying eggs on two different occasions, but I haven't seen any small snails after that, anything I can do to help the eggs develop?

Cerith snails. They lay eggs all over the place. Sometimes those are free food for your fish.

Well I think my 8" Red Reef Lobster will eat those eggs before anything else. They are all in my invertebrate quarantine at the moment.
