It looks like dollar tree switched up their glue or just the packaging? Is this stuff safe for my tank?

I think all super glue is pretty much the same stuff. I would check the label and see what chemical they use and compare to the label of a reef safe super glue. I use the BRS extra thick. A small bottle lasts me for months.
 
If the only ingredient listed is Cyanoacrylate , it should be good to go. You also want gel and not liquid.

I have always used whatever brand I can get the cheapest. Never had a problem. Well, other than sticking my fingers together.....

This is so true I love my coral but jeeze I hate mounting them to rock work. May have to try epoxy next time.
 
Agree with above, ideally you want the green cap which is the "gel". It is much easier to apply than the one you picked out. However it should still be reef safe.
