....OK.... ummh.. what is it? If it is bath tile or another ceramic, yes. If you can scratch it with a knife ..maybe not.

What do you have in mind.. you are going to share that idea, right?
 
I have used bath/backsplash tile for zoa/ paly grow out. As colony spreads, you can use a razor/ scalpel to cut between polyps & slide razor between tile & polyp to remove. Then transfer to frag plug for sale or desired rock in display tank.

IMO no they are slick and slide off rock and hard to place and if I see that I will not buy a frag that is on floor tile just me go buy some frag plugs

Unless you are using them for chalices or other type corals that will sit in the sand bed.
