Anyone have any experience with Niger Trigger?
I want one but I thought they were not reef safe but the girl at my LFS said she has one in her personal tank and he don't bother any coral
Any thoughts ?

Kind of a tough call, there are some that are ok, but you never know when they will turn on you. I had a Pink Tail Trigger in my Reef tank for years without any trouble out of him. Blue Throat is another good choice.
But i'm thinking a Niger Trigger might not be the best choice.

Thanks
My gut instinct says its bad news
I have a lion in the tank now and as he grows the smaller fish are getting in eaten which I knew would happen so when I replace them I need bigger ones I'm just looking for some cool stuff because me maintenance crew are kind of boring to look at

I had a Hawaiian Black Durgeon Trigger that came out of a reef - person was taking down his tank. I had him in a fish-only and he was a model citizen.

On a side note, I thought I had read somewhere that Triggers might pick on Lionfish?

REALLY!
I may have to do some checking on that for sure
Thanks for the info

Reef safe with caution is the information I have so I'm sure they may pick on certain things, however what those things are I don't know
Feather dusters and bubble tip coral and some polyps are the only thing in there .... He hasn't bothered either of those yet
I'm sure he's waiting for the more expensive stuff to go in LOL

Crosshatch or blue theoats would be my choice. Crosshatch are expensive though. My lfs has one for 600
