I have a Biocube 29 reef setup. I was wondering what Urchins are reef safe that everyone enjoys. I have a little bit of algae growing on the glass and want to try and contain it.

Urchins are really great additions to the reef. Pincushions, tuxedos and pencil urchins are all reef safe and are very common and easy to find in any LFS.

I have had this long spine for many years. Seems very safe to me.

I also had this guy for many years and except for some re-decorating, he is also reef safe. I have always had urchins and never found one to not be reef safe.
