Reef safe??

Hey guys, this tiny little what looks to be a starfish was attached to one of my new hammers.

Is it reef safe? Or would it be better to get rid of it…

Looks like asterina starfish. Some people like them some don't some say they harm corals but I'm not 100% they do

They are mostly algae eaters. Did you find it on the glass?
