Here is pic of overflow. Wrasses keep going right though the slots.

That lattice may be reef-safe ... but it's 4 x 8 feet, and those holes are big enough for your wrasses to swim through without touching either fin.

You might want to look at something more like a plastic gutter-guard, or perhaps a crafting screen, such as they use for cross-stitch projects.

+1 to the gutter guard, Bruce. I just modded my megaflows with it. It's like 3 bucks for a 50' roll and small enough to block almost anything except maybe a trimma or something.

What did you use to make that stick ? So cleanly?

Using that logic. I should be able to able weld on 9 to the overflow and gutterguard and that should stick perfectly.

How long do I need to let that cure?

Keep in mind my tank is already running. So I would have to drain 1/4 of tank to get overflow. So question is. How long to I let it sit and cure before I fill it back up

Might just do silicone too. Still on fence

For 69 cents you can get a 12" x 12" sheet of plastic knitting canvas at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc.; I overcut mine and was able to wedge it into place without using adhesives. It even comes in different colors if you're feeling artistic! Good luck
