Looks to be standard black egg crate. Will be fine if that’s what it is.

As far as I know it’s standard egg crate. It was used as light deflector in cove lighting.

Hard to actually find in black for lighting. Mainly use white for the obvious reason

For anyone who’s wondering. It worked exactly as anticipated in my 13.5 and for my wants.

Changing out the filter every other day was getting old, especially since I would spend some time rescuing amphipods yes, amphipods. It lasted a week before coming close to clogging before needing to be changed out.
