What do you think is the best salt mix to use for your tank? Looking to see what the masses use. or is it a potpourri of different choices.....And what salt mix would you not use?

Opinions are like salt mixes. Everybody has one.

Deciding your budget and alkalinity is probably the two really good factors to consider.

I'm at 8.5 and do a lot of water changes.
I use instant ocean.
The 50gallon bag is usually $15 on Amazon.

I can't really attest to the drastic part. But it is what I started with and everything is growing well. No complaints!

I use Coral life in the 180 Fish only.( only have 2 fish in there). Regular red sea for the 75 coral tank. I need to retest a mixing barrel of the Coral life. it's been years. The Alk levels were low.

Been using Red Sea Pro for about a year now. This next batch I'm switching to the regular Red Sea blue. No issues with the Red Sea Pro but going to try out the Red Sea SPS Program and it states to use the regular salt not the enhanced Pro.
