I'd be surprised if Marco Rock, Reefsaver, and the third "Dry reef rock from an ancient quarry" provider dont all pull their rock from the same distributor and sell under their own name. I think its very telling BRS has it labeled as their own but then sells Marco's mortar for their rock as well. I've done some personal comparisons and it seems to have the same density and structure. That being said I dont think you can go wrong with any of it, check to see who has it on sale or selling the kinds of pieces you want and run with it.
You are correct 100% I have talked to the owner and they all come to the same lake. It's a fresh water lake now, it use to be saltwater 100's of years ago. I bought off of amazon and saved a lot of money.
