Hi all,

My last tank was set up with Fiji rock and it looked OK but I wasnt in love with the aquascape.

I really like the look of the reef saver rock. I have kept my Fiji rock in a trash can (its been in there in for over 6 years) in storage until I was able to set it up.
Well, the time has come where I am able to set it back up again- hooray!

Should I use the Fiji rock again or opt out paying an extra $270 for the reef saver rock?

What are your experiences with the reef saver rock?
From what I have researched, its all pretty positive feedback.

Thanks for your help!

I have some of it in my tank, and I love the way it looks. I prefer it over fiji rock, but hey, its up to you.
Depends on if you are willing to pay the extra $270 for a new aquascape:D

I have reefsaver rock in my systems and it looks pretty awesome and is easy to apply frags to with the way its shaped; also not hard to drill extra holes into....that being my experience! I went off and purchased 180lbs of pukani based on it being more porous (WAY MORE POROUS). They mixed well together in my 150gal and in honesty I cannot tell if the pukani is doing anything better and or worse than the reefsaver tho. If I were to do it again I think I would have stayed reefsaver 100%.
