Well I am in shock right about now, totally upset and just stunned.

A few weeks ago i ordered a bubble coralimorph from reef scavengers and it was promptly shipped. I recieved the coral looking like this

No biggie right, maybe them florida boys dont realize how cold it is up here... So i send em the pics and they offered a replacement or a refund and appologized.
I told them i wanted the shroom but if they planed to ship it in the same method (no insulation) i wanted a refund, they say they will ship in styro and we agree on a replacement. Cool of them right, i thought so as well. I acclimated it and put it in the tank and it melted within 2 days, wich i pretty much expected but i thought id give it a shot.

We agreed to wait a week because of the holiday to ship the replacement, when monday comes i dont hear anything from them so i mailed them that night and they responded tuesday and shipped my coral that day. I get it today and its packaged the same exact way and the water was 7 degrees COLDER than it was the first time. I mail them with pics again and ask what happend to the styro and he tells me to acclimate it and it should pull through that they are tough. Well I tried that with the first one (wich i had not told them at this point) and it didnt do anything but goo up on me. So i told them that i tried to acclimate the first one and it melted, the water was 7 degrees warmer the first time and it didnt make it.

After being completely rude to me:

Kevin,

Our mistake. Sorry for the major inconveniences we have caused you. I will
send a refund momentarily.

Thank you
RS

I dont know what to expect as far as the refund because they didnt keep their word about the styro...

Here is the pics from the second shipment:

I hate to even start a thread like this but its pretty simple to ship a coral in a styro box priority, have it arrive in great condition and have a happy customer. But to not keep your word and send a man 2 refridgerated corals in a row and then be rude to him is just unacceptable. This is by far the worst experience i have had online. I have bought corals from a few big named vendors and several off ebay and fellow reefers, this is the absolute worst.

I just recieved some corals from a fellow reefer priority and they took 3 days and were opend up when i floated them already. I sent his corals back to him priority(he got them today), even sent a beautiful birdsnest frag along and its doing fine in his tank. sps, priority+styro and proper packing= alive. Now i normally would not send someone their sps priority but i gave it to the fella as a freebie along with what i traded him and i figured why not, we both agreed so off it went. That shipment only took two days to get there, same as this shipment from RS.

I linked to the pics because i dont want this to look like a flame down but i cant help what happened and im only posting the experience. As of right now, they still have not kept their word and sent the refund.
