Nope. Though I guess the tank's temperature does vary slightly, lower for a bit in the winter.

I do.
Coral spawn during aug spep time frame in nature. So I have summer/winter temp(74 to 78), moon cycle and day sun light length diffrence to simulate seasons(more cloud simulation between aug to dec)
It's an overkill and I have not seen much diffrece that I can really quantify but I could swear my coral growth is more during warmer temp season ha ha..anecdotally ofcourse...
