Just curious how do reef shops and coral farms take out so much water to bag the corals in a day? Will the ato not go off and refresh it with fresh water instead? How do they maintain their salinity

Having watched my LFS, they add a couple of buckets of salt water aftter selling a few bags of fish/coral.

With a big tank, that pretty much makes zero change in salinity.

They correct any difference each day
