Reef shops to stop at in FL through Orlando?

I am heading down from Pensacola to Miami this weekend to pick up a bird and Sat wanted to stop at World Wide Corals in Orlando and if anyone can suggest any other places would be appreciated. I will be going down 75 all the way.

World Wide Corals would definitely be a great choice! That is probably the best store there, I doubt that there is a store better than WWC down there.

In Gainesville there is Aquatropics and Ocean Exotics. The first has some good corals for pretty good deals, but their fish usually look sick. And the second has pretty good fish, but not too many great corals and their prices are a little high.

In Ocala there's Aqualinks and Tanks-A-Lot. I haven't been to either, but I hear Aqualinks is better, and Tanks-A-Lot really isn't worth going to.

And I hear Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff is really good too, but might be too far out of your way.

You're not taking 75 all the way right? You'd miss Orlando. Well anyway, I also heard that Aquarium Fanatics, Sea in the City, and Aquaria Studio are decent too. Of course WWC will make all their corals look dull. lol.

WWC is a bit far from 75. Never been, but I hear it's a great store. Actually I think I'm recieving some Darth Mauls from there tomorrow.
Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff is an awsome store, but a zoa lover paradise it's not.

Wish I was gonna be around this weekend, I'd show you around Grouper's Coral Emporium.

Yep, sorry. I meant 75 to 91 to Orlando then 91 to 95 down to Miami.

Aquarium Fanatics: Dull Corals?

once u get down to miami...check out coral reef farm off stirling and 95. theres also exotic aquatic which always has nice fish. there's probably a good 50 stores within an hour of miami. lots and lots to choose from, but it depends on what you're looking for.

what exactly are you looking for because each store has their own specialty...

side note...deff go to world wide corals. I'd also stop by seainthecity as marcye is deff the nicest store owner ever!

Yeah, sorry. Looks like you have some nice stuff. But like I said before, I've never been to your store. I have been to WWC many times though, and they do have some amazing colors. Very hard to beat.

I will have to check you guys out sometime and decide who's is duller! lol. Maybe even walk away with a few of those dull corals! hehe...

We have over 80 different kind of zoas and over 150 kind of acros also, So is not just chalices acans and montis :wink:.

I'm pretty sure you need to take the 528 after 91.

BUT where is world wide corals?!
im heading to the orlando area tomorrow and i cant find their address!!!
ill be taking 95 to 528 to 4 but i can make a pit stop as long as its not TOO far off course

on 528 before you get off at I4 get off at Orange Blossom Trail (436). I dont know the actual direction but you want to go left on OBT away from the mall toward Kissimmee. I know if you call the guys at the store when you get near they will help you out.
