Reef spec carbon

Hi all,

i just started to use reef spec carbon in my 10 gallon nuvo. I used 12 mils of it and put it in a bag. Not sure if this is why my phosphate went down but i was under the impression it didn’t reduce it. Monday i was at .08 and as of yesterday, it was at .02

not bad but i like a higher phosphate just Incase it does dip… it doesn’t it 0.

would that be the issue on why i saw my phosphate drop fairly quickly ?

It is unlikely to influence your PO levels. More likely user error or margin of error in testing kits, procedure, etc. What test kit are you using?
