Steven Jr has had multiple seizures today and is in hospital checking his shoulder out because of injury from falling during the 1st one. Hopefully nothing to serious. Checking in as I can.

Count down for the auctions tonight thank you for everyone and every bid. I'm at a loss for proper words of gratitude.

As we winding down in the final stretch on all the auctions and there were some great ppl who tried hard to make a pack their own.
You guys got my blessings on all accounts for what you did the last couple of days.
But lets not forget who we are here............ prayers are wonderful tools and sometimes we think they go unheard.........yet till years down the road something happen and suddenly it will ring a bell.
It's all possible still!!

You guys!! Our 6 auctions alone have raised $3,025!!! That's amazing! It goes a long way to helping out @steve&mari ! I wonder.... what would happen to the goal of $12,000 if we all donated just $20? With as many people as are on this forum I think that goal would be met in short order. If you can't make a donation then send your prayers. They are just as important!
 
I just want to say a quick THANK YOU to the R2R community and to @revhtree for allowing us to try to help a fellow reefing family member in need.

Thanks to all who participated in the auction threads and congratulations to the winners. Thanks to those that offered their gifts and those that offered their prayers and concerns.

This is truly an amazing community of people we are part of. We came a long way to help Steve and his family and we owe all that to you.

Thank you for everyone of you. You all are a blessing and a answer to prayer. Your help care love and support is very uplifting and a huge step to get us to where we're needed to reach. I thank you for being a brilliant light of hope.

I hope we all had a great summer although we still cooking in Texas with record breaking temps we setting us up for the holidays.
That said............. Steve and I have been in close contact about all kinds of stuff but never the less on a good note today Steve text me and from his words as he ask me if I was busy I could tell it was important.
After what he told me and both dropped some tears of joy and blessings all over my and his screen........... someone will have a home for his family for the Holidays.
I will let @steve&mari fill in the rest.

Let me also be the one to tell you guys we are not there yet.
Steve needs to come up with the last 3K in about six months from now to sign the final contract.
Well, you guys don't know Diesel yet but if it takes to break my tank down and come up with the rest I'll do so but I ask you guys to share just that little bit with me and I'll match $1 for every $4 donated to the GFM

@Diesel, do I have until monday? Had a few bills and it's left me somewhat strapped. I can definitely make a donation monday. Basically what I'm asking is there a certain time frame?

Hey everyone sorry I'm late tonight. Our 6 year old girl was in er tonight and doing well. Has a bad infection they're clearing up with strong meds. She has contracted the mrsa staph infection caught extremely early so a big plus.

They great News for us is because of all of you we are able to keep our home. Thank you are such small words for what I'm trying to say. I've fought for 12 years in December to be with them against the odds of stage 4 kidney cancer. God's always been our strength and has a plan we may not know or see.
I was off work and ended up with a reef tank to help with depression of losing employment from treatment. Then another blessing appears when I found this community. How Rev reached out to me almost immediately to discuss my health and if I was saved. I knew this was more than just a hobby site the owner and everyone was so helpful and kind.

I've prayed for others in our prayer thread and asked for prayers for treatment and found support as others have. Then as depression grabbed hold tight I with drew from basically everything as it got worse. We were facing a unattainable in my eyes goal to get stability for our family in our home. Landlord decided to sell everything off to move to Belize soon. Willing to sell land contract because of our excellent history with him even with my extremely bad credit from decade of the cancer battle. 12 grand was 12 million in my eyes and for a 3x I was looking at losing our home from circumstance beyond our control even though we always paid on time.

Depression grew darker and I question life a lot. I again turned to the R2R prayer thread for prayers of support and some how not end up homeless again. Well this thread is a testament as the power of our community and prayers and even in the dark of depression there's hope and others who care more than words can express.

Because of your support for our family again I am humbled amazed and eternally grateful to our great community here on R2R the blessing of Rev. The squad and you all have blessed us with a stable home. October 5th we sign the land contract with 9 grand down and a promissory note that we pay the remaining 3 grand of down payment within 6 months. This I know will be hard for us alone. So as @Diesel has said I'm humbly continue to fight to raise this last 3 grand. I'm sorry I can't properly express how much this has been to our family and me personally see light instead of the darkness of depression.
I've shared tears with Ben of despair and now of joy and some relief from it all. Alex and I have talked as I have with Helen Ann n few others through pm. I can't say thank you enough for the words of encouragement and the power of those words.

The community I can't say how important you are to us and others who have been reached out to by the community because words are weak compared with the power you all have shown time and again. This is a hobby site but full of so much more. You have the power to change a families life forever as you have ours. Bless you all I'm very fortunate to be a small part of such a beautiful home we call R2R. Thank you bless you and I'm writing through tears again so need to gather myself again lol. Tears of joy are sweet and because of you my friends.
Thank you again for our family to be stable in our home we thought wasn't possible but you made it happen!!!!



Please don't let @Diesel sell everything he's a driven man with a great heart and will bless you Ben
