What's the difference between the 2?

How many of each are there?

What are the responsibilities and roles of each?

How is each one determined? Does R2R reach out or is it voluntary?

Reef Squad members are an active group that specializes in certain areas and helps out around the forum.

Team R2R are the mods, which generally do the same but also moderate ( enforce rules )

Most of the time it's a reach out thing but once in a while there's been a thread looking for volunteers.

Thanks, I was just curious. A couple days ago I saw someone reached out to on a thread, but quite frankly I disagree with most of that particular users advice.

Nothing wrong with a diversity of opinions. With a limited staff, I'm sure fact-checking is left to the author in each case, so quality will (or should, at least) vary at just as much.

I hope it wasn't me, I have been asking around because I would sign up... (hint, hint....;))
No, not you.

My way of phrasing that was just trying to be nice to someone that was giving all-around bad advice, and was also a fairly disruptive presence.

A diverse group of responses makes for a forum that has a lively discourse and allows for critical thinking.

Really digging deep to find other posts to disagree with me though.

I hear ya. although 'bad' is subjective, I've seen a lot of scientifically incorrect information posted by both groups of members. they say there are several ways to skin a cat, but only a couple are efficient.

No, not you.
