Hey guys, just received the aquarium and might do a build thread later. I will have a 20 gal sump, leading to a total volume of 75 gal. Now onto the stocking, I have currently one clown and bangaii cardinal in my 29 gal which I will take down.
  • Bangaii Cardinal
  • 1 Male clown
  • Royal Gramma Basslet
  • Two Firefish
  • Goby Pistol Shrimp combo
Confuzzled on the rest. Any other suggestions?

You might consider a dartfish or three; scissortail, zebra-bar, and blue gudgeon are the most common varieties. They'll dive into the rockwork at a moment's notice if frightened, but will spend much of their time hanging just below the surface.

A small fairy or flasher wrasse would also zoom about above your rockwork; possum wrasse or pink-streaked wrasse would prowl among your rocks.

A tailspot or starry blenny would bop from rock to rock, nibbling at the algae and watching the world around them.

Lots of possibilities!

Here’s my stock list for my 55 gallon 4 foot long tank. I️ too have a 20 gallon sump so we have the same volume.

2 ocellaris clowns - 3” and 2”
Starry blenny 4”
Melanurus wrasse 4.5”
Fiji anthias 3”
Dwarf Pygmy angel 2”
Mimic yellow tang 3.5”
Leopard wrasse 3”

They all get a long very well, and yes I’ve reached my limit lol. Cannot put anything else in without serious harassing

Gobies are my favorite! They kick up some sand but they also tunnel under all my rocks so the sand is always aerated..

You need some blennies. These guys are very entertaining to watch and very personable. I have a goldline blenny and a sailfin blenny. Not the most colorful fish but the goldline is always out and about and comes up to the glass when I approach the tank. The sailfin backs herself into small holes or crevices in the rockwork and darts out to catch food. If I had more room in my tank I'd add to the blenny collection with a midas or canary, horseface, tailspot... You get the idea.

My 55 (65 with sump) has 2 ocellaris clownfish, a royal gramma, goldline blenny, sailfin blenny, blue (neon) goby, blackline blenny, yellow assessor, and a yellow watchman goby. It's definitely full, probably even a bit overcrowded.
