Can you start one now? We'll need a build thread going in order to feature your reef. ;)

I might as well throw my hat in the ring, although there are way too many that blow this away!

This was started in January, 2014. It's a 120g standard 4'x4'x2' and set up as a peninsula to serve as a room divider. It's had it's ups and downs but overall, I'm quite pleased with it. By build thread can be found here:

180 gallon sps dominant mixed reef, with sump and frag tank all plumbed together.

I have had my system running for many years, but moved into my new house only a few months ago so I’m not sure what the setup date would be.

I just upgraded to a new frag tank so go check it out !

Tried to edit this as I forgot to input that this tank was put in place October 2017. Many of the corals and fish were from previous tank and all grown from small fragments. Also, worth mentioning is the 400 gallon rock sump and frag tank all plumbed together along with Custom Reef Creations custom 8’ long sump. So it’s one 13.5’ DT, two sumps and frag tank all plumbed together.

1500 total volume, 909 gallon mixed reef display. SPS dominant with some unique fish including: Pairs of :Candy Basslets, Bandit and Goldflake Angels, Black tangs, Yellow tangs, Regal Tangs, clowns, plack pyramids, borbonious anthias, bicolor anthias, crosshatch triggers. Then featuring Moorish Idols, Clarion Angelfish, Semilavartus, Lennardi, Chrysurus, etc..

So it’s baby, but I’m getting there. 90 gallon (48” x 26” x 18”) planet aquarium tank with eshoops sump. If take displacement from rock and sand into account there is about 100 total gallons of water in the system. It was turned on April 8th, and used Red Sea mature to cycle. I was using my old 34 as a holding tank but when it started having problems I had to put things in this tank quicker than I wanted. So far so good and everything looks happy to this point.

@Lmdw121 do you have a build thread started? Could you get one going for your reef?
I don't have one dedicated to my tank. How can I get one started? I forgot where to go to do that.
Thanks!

Well Technically, I just started my NEW Tank this week (A upgrade from 65 to 110 Gals).

Doesn't have much inside (Coral Wise Zero), but I worked really hard to get the ROCKS JUST Right.
Learned over the years that Rock Layout is Key to a Successful FUTURE for Fish Comfort/Safety, Tank Circulation, Coral Placement, and Ease of Maintenance. (and of Course Appearance)

So here is the Rock Layout: (In a Video with an All Around Tour of Front/Ride Side....Hard to take a Photo to show the Details of Layout, Nooks and Crannies)

-> Tank 110 Gallon built into my Basement Office Wall (43" Wide, 24" Deep, 22" Tall). Starphire Glass[Front,Right Side), External Overflow

-> Sump Room Redone for two Sumps Running this Tank, and One directly Above (Totally ripped apart, and Rebuilt for Perfect Wiring/Maintenance Access)

This video show the Evolution and the Final Stages of Sump Room assemebly in Time Lapse.

Now some details about this Upgraded TANK (SETUP): (Which took me a few months for the Tank Upgrade, but 2 years to make all the pieces for this Final Setup)

- 55 Gallon DIY Custom Sump (Built in Algae Scrubber, Refuge/Water Changer Section)
- Main Lighting T5 DIY Fixture (54W x 6 Bulbs, 2 Pairs Dimmable and 2 Pair non-Dimmable, 39W x1 Bulb Dimmable: HEP Ballasts ) Bulbs: Coral Plus, Blue Plus, Purple Plus
- BLUE LED Strip Accent Lighting (90W LED Strip, Apex Controlled Dimmabge via Current Driver Power Pack)
- Controller #1 (Apex Jr, EB8's, PM2, VDMS, Breakout)
- Controller #2 Doser/Water Changer (DIY Arduino Controller, HW/SW Custom Developed)
- Circulation (Maxspect Gyre XF150 (IcepCap Controled) , Jeabo CP40, 2x Hydot Koralia Pumps)
- Return Pump (DC Waveline 10000, Variable Speed controlled Via Apex) OUTPUT to SeaSwirl

- VOICE CONTROL Automation (Amazon Alexa: Via SONOFF Relay Pro - Apex Breakout Inputs)

- FISH (Yellow Tang, Tomini Tang, Mandarin Goby, Sunburst Anthias, Black Cap Basslet, Blue Green Chromis)

And just in case a PHoto is Required, here is the Freshly Started Tank.

Thanks Rev but I assure You wouldn't want to feature any of my tanks !

My tank is a 125g 48x30x20.
It lived from March 2014 to around mid 2017. I took it down to do some work my house. I had plans to re set it up but decided to sell it and work to getting a Red Sea reefer p650. So that is the plan. Here is the build thread to it. My next build thread will b much better and photo heavy.
