I started this Nano Cube 28g in October 2016; it's my first saltwater setup. Not a world class setup, but I'm very happy with the coral growth and want to give a big shout out to BRS for their amazing BRStv series! The tank does look better in person - not sure how to get a good photo with LED lighting (I turned off all blue for this photo). Built the LED system from components from RapidLED, so none of the original JBJ lights remain. Use Kalkwasser in the ATO to keep up alkalinity and calcium, and add Bicarb and CACL as necessary. Still working through patches of cyano; nitrates are in the 12-25 range. Fish and inverts include a cleaner shrimp, lawnmower blenney, two clowns, a yellow assessor and a six line wrasse.

Hello Reef2Reef'ers!

Let me preface this post by saying that your tank doesn't have to be packed full of mature sps coral colonies and have the best gear to be included. But we will need a decent photo. :)

We want to start a new series of threads where we feature a Reef Tank from one of our members. It will be a simple bit of info and photo of your tank with link to your build thread. If you're interested then please share a full or partial tank shot that you're proud of and the following data.

  • Full or Partial Photo
  • Tank Size
  • Date Started
  • Link to R2R build thread

And that's it!

If we use your tank then your tank will receive recognition and you will receive a spiffy new "Reef Tank 365" badge under your name!
