Reef tank lighting Desk?

Hi Everyone,

I setup a tank today on my desk and just wondering two questions.

1) if I use full spectrum am I messing up my eyes?
2) if so can I leave just white like I have it now 9-5 and then from 5pm onward intense full spectrum say 5pm-12am? in a reef tank with coral.

No.not.hurting your eyes. Is it.too.bright?

9am-12am is a long.light schedule...
