Hello I am facing a problem with my reef tank. The last week I notice that some of my corals behave like they are stressed. After some days one of my ephyllias got that brown gelly. After a couple of days my bubble looks like not opening and today was like the photo. And also my wrasse disappeared and Leucosternon got ich (but to me looks like stressed). Does anyone have any idea?
Water Parameters
Salinity 1.025
Surface temp 26.7 C
Bottom temp 27.9 C
Magnesium 1480
PH 8.1
KH 8.7
Calcium 440
PO4 0.45 ( usually I have 0.28)
NO3 50 (I can’t get it lower with physical ways that I want to go)

Thank you

N and P seem too high, are you running a slimmer? Algae turf scrubber? Water changes might be a good short term remediation

N was high since day one. P goes lower and back but last 2 months was 0.25-0.28. I use my skimmer and uv. No I don’t have any turf scrubber. Water change was 2 weeks ago 100litres. And usually I do every month.
Also my next question is I am using simultaneously since yesterday iron based and Seachem phosguard. Is that right?or I have to take one out?

I have many and they are fine with higher levels of nitrate and Phos as long as not highly elevated. While not picky with location, elevate off sand bed and in path of moderate light flow and lighting. Too little flow will cause them to shrink and too much can tear their polyps. Assure calcium is not below 400 and feed them mysis shrimp 2-3x a week

I don’t know if flow is the problem but I ll check it. I feed frozen maybe once a week or twice. I don’t know what causes the bubble to shrink. Bubble was ok in this place. And I didn’t change anything.
