reef tank

No my 55 gal is not drilled but i dont know if it can be drilled and i hope i don't have to spend no more than $800.00 for pumps. How big of a rubbermaid container does it need to be and how small is the pump.

I've had good results when adding niteout and special blend to the rock when it's in the water In a tub and in the newly established tank for a month, after then I went down to adding it only after changes. As long as no mistakes are made it can speed up the process and give you great results, both of those products are bacterial additives that can be bought for about $25 each

Do i have to have a sump and a over flow box with my (SW) tank please help...I need to now what type of skimmer should i use and measurement's for a sump and over flow box for a wide 55 gallon reef tank and what all should go in it or maybe a diagram for sump.

Ok i have done a lot of research I think I found everything needed for my 55 gal build.I have a coral life skimmer, sump tank is a eshopp RS-75 reef sump, and a eshopp pf-300 over flow box,a 120w tri dim led's and for the people that helped thanks a lot.

So what Return pump are you going with? What other pumps are you going to use for water movement?

The Eshopps PF300 is rated at Max. Water Flow: 300 GPH so you are looking for a return pump that matches or comes close in matching the flow rate. if you go over a bit that should be ok.

I have a overflow rated at 300 GPH and i use the Ehiem 1250 which is rated at 320.
