I usually try to keep my temp around 78-79. But its getting warm here, and Ive not turned on the AC yet. Just been opening some windows, because its not that hot, and it still gets cool at night. I just noticed for the past few days my tank has been running around 81-82. Should I worry? Everything looks fine, infact some of the soft corals look more fluffy.

You can always try and utilize a plug in clip on fan to cool the tanks surface which will in turn help drop it down a couple degrees!

I typically run my tank at 79F but dealing with a dino outbreak and several people suggested 82F. So far no big issues, stylophora polyps are retracted but that could be the constant blowing and dinos.

My philosophy is look at the tank, not the numbers. You have problems when the corals or animals are unhappy not when the numbers look wrong.
