I just got a Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro Multi Test Kit for testing Ca, KH, Mg.
I haven't used it yet, but I've heard it is pretty easy and I watched some videos about it and it seems easy.

I use the cal/alk/mag test kits and I really like them and they are easy to use. The only problem I have with them is the alkalinity test results are hard to determine.

And alk is one test you don't want to get wrong if you have sps corals.

I use API for ammonia & nitrate (which are always zero, so I go cheap). I use API & Salifert for alk & cal (they are always pretty darn close) and Salifert for mag (API doesn't have one). I have API kits for pH (but test by PinPoint & Milwaukee meters) and phosphates (but I rarely test for it and use a Hanna checker).

API are cheap and easy. A lot of reefers complain that they are no good or not accurate. All I can say is they give me the same results as the Salifert kits. It's just that the API kits don't give results in as fine a scale as Salifert. API alk goes in whole numbers (ie. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) and Salifert jumps by 2 or 3 tenths (ie. 6.0, 6.2, 6.5, 6.7). But if the Salifert says 7.7 or 8.3, the API kit says 8. It's a matter of just how precise do you need or want?
