Can you put a lizard in a used saltwater aquarium safely
Thanks for reminding me, I have always wanted to keep a saltwater iguana!
If the tank is leaking then drain it and remove the wet sand and rock, wipe it down (to remove salt film) so the glass is clear and reload it with the lizard(s).

Of course you will need a lid to keep the reptile from roaming out but the glass or acrylic box should be acceptable for terrarium transformation purposes.

I totally get the appeal of having a pet lizard, and it's great that you're considering their safety. As for using a used saltwater aquarium, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure you thoroughly clean the tank to remove any residual salt and other chemicals that could harm your lizard. You'll also want to make sure the tank is the right size for your particular type of lizard, as some species need more space than others.

These days I've read an article about do iguana bites hurt, and I am thinking of getting an iguana. Is anyone familiar with them? :D
